Become a Part of Three Hearts
The Three Hearts Pilgrimage cannot happen without the support and dedication of its volunteers. From ladling soup to transporting major equipment, each small action contributes to the greater whole and creates something True, Good, and Beautiful.
Volunteer run.
Family-focused.
Entirely planned and run by volunteers, the pilgrimage is a work of charity for the greater good. While a smaller volunteer-staff work around the year to plan for this annual walk of reparation, hundreds are required in the day-of work to provide for a safe and seamless journey for all pilgrims traveling through this vale of tears.
Our volunteers have the desire to create something beautiful for the Holy Family, to be part of something bigger than themselves, and to do their part to change the culture for their children. Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, clergy, and more come together to make this possible.

Over 15 Departments
Not all departments require the same level of manpower, equipment, or energy. Whether you can volunteer for all three days or only one, we have volunteer positions that would benefit from your generous time and talents.
Find a Team for You

Logistics
Director: Bryan Robinson
We're seeking dependable and capable drivers to join our Logistics Team. This team plays a vital role in transporting equipment, water, porta potties, and other essential supplies for the pilgrimage. Volunteers with their own heavy-duty trucks and/or trailers are especially needed to help transport these items, following the schedule coordinated by the Logistics Director.
Schedule:
Thursday, Oct 9: Arrive in the afternoon for team meeting
Friday, Oct 10: Full-day commitment
Saturday, Oct 11: Assist through the end of the event
If you’re interested, please sign up to be part of this important team. Together, we can make sure everything runs smoothly for the pilgrimage!

Luggage
Director: Grant Wallenberg
Join the luggage team and help manage the movement of all the pilgrim luggage. Volunteers will load, transport, and unload bags, ensuring every piece of luggage gets where it needs to go.
Schedule:
Thursday, Oct 9: Afternoon team meeting
Friday, Oct 10: 5:00AM - Noon
Saturday, Oct 11: 5:00AM - Noon
While the luggage work typically takes just a few hours at a time, this is still considered a full-time volunteer role. Due to timing and logistics, Luggage Team members will likely only be able to walk the final mile to the Abbey, if they choose.
This can be a physically demanding role, and we’re seeking extra manpower to help lighten the load—literally. Many hands make light work, and your help makes a big difference!

Food
Director: Therese Lawless
We’re looking for hardworking volunteers to join the Food Team during the pilgrimage. No cooking experience needed—just a willingness to help with food prep, serving, and clean-up. While most of the work is general food prep and cooking, there will also be some lifting, carrying, and loading of supplies, so having a variety of helpers is key.
We take pride in feeding thousands of hungry pilgrims nourishing and delicious foods, ensuring they’re well cared of.
Tasks may include preparing and chopping ingredients, setting up serving stations, stirring the soup pots, ensuring meals are served smoothly, and clean-up.

Wednesday, Oct. 8. (Optional)

Thursday, Oct. 9.
Full Day commitment with meal prep, serving, and clean-up.
